Retreat Committee Assistant Coordinator

Role               

To assist the Retreat Committee Coordinator, the Retreat Committee, and the Formation Director in the smooth running of the Retreat.

Responsibilities                                                                         

  • To assist the Retreat Coordinator in evaluating the Retreat Facility’s rooms, food service, and handicap accessibility.
  • To assist the Retreat Committee in determining the Retreat Favors (holy cards, etc.) to begiven out at the Retreat and to procure those Retreat Favors (at a reasonable price).
  • To make Name tags, using the accepted Format, for all members being Clothed after checking with the Formation Director
  • To assemble the Retreat Packets (folders) for everyone attending the Retreat, and to make copies as needed for the retreat folders.
    • The Retreat Packets include:
      • Information sheet on the Retreat Facilities
      • Retreat Schedule
      • Liturgy of the Hours Information
      • Music
      • Novenas
      • Favors
      • Any other item the Committee has decided to include in the packet
  • To send/email the Completed Retreat Schedule to the Retreat Coordinator with the updated information from the Liturgy Coordinator and the Music Ministry.
  • To assist at the Registration Table and anywhere needed for set-up and clean-up at the Retreat
  • To assist the retreat Committee Coordinator in any duties as needed
